OK, SO WHY SRI SANKARA'S?

Well, lots of reasons, but most importantly because..

HISTORY OF SRI SANKARA'S

Sri Sankara’s Degree College was Established in the Year 1994 by Sri Vidyanikethan Educational society under the control of Secretary and Correspondent of Sri B.Thimmaiah garu. At the very starting in 1994 the college had started with the strength of only two students under the guidance of PV.Sharadamma garu around in five different groups. Later the college was shifted to its own premises with a permanent building near Gayathri Estate Kurnool in 1998. Coming to the strength of the students there was a drastic change, presently the strength of the college is around 900 students with around 35 staff members which was an applauding thing to all of us. Few Years back only P.G courses have been started for Chemistry, Biochemistry & English etc; which is a boon to our college in Kurnool district. Our college will score a result of 85% to 90% in every year. This information is also published in newspapers. Next Let's have a glance on the college facilities.

Our college is Wi-Fii Enabled, which helps the scholars work on their assignments from anywhere within the campus. The Computer lab remains open from 8.30 am to 5:30 pm.

  • Why SRI SANKARA'S?

    The College is well equipped with computer lab having internet Facility, science lab and English lab. We are very thankful to management that they are very supportive to improve the facilities in the college campus with furniture, drinking water etc.

  • There is a library facility also for the sake of students and staff members. The management also encourages the students to participate in district and state level Competitions & SportsMeets. Many of the former students are in high positions in various sectors in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad & Vizag etc.
